Picnic Island is a private island located adjacent to the pristine Freycinet National Park in Coles Bay, Tasmania and we are giving you the opportunity to have it all to yourself for 3 nights.
Just in case, you want somebody to talk to while on the island… we’ll also let you bring 3 of your friends along to help explore the beauty of the island or to simply relax and unwind with, as you share a bottle of wine by the fire.
We will fly the 4 of you Business Class, from the winner’s nearest capital city to Hobart Airport, where you will then climb aboard Tasmanian’s only Seaplane operation, Above & Beyond Seaplanes for a picturesque flight up along Tasmanians East Coast, before a water landing on Coles Bay and arrival at your very own private island.

Day 1
Thanks to Abercrombie & Kent Australia, the winner and 3 of their lucky friends will be departing from the winner’s nearest capital city on return Business Class flights to Hobart Airport.
Upon arrival in Hobart, you will make your way to our friends at Above & Beyond Seaplanes, where you climb aboard for a scenic 50minute flight up the incredible East Coast of Tasmania before making a memorable water landing in Coles Bay.
Once ashore, you will find Picnic Islands architecturally designed accommodation all prepared and awaiting your arrival, with the fridge and pantry fully stocked to your preference.
Evening free to make the most of your very own Private Island.
Day 2
After breakfast and that all important Coffee, you will have some time to take in the natural beauty of your surroundings, before setting out on a 3 hour guided kayaking tour of Coles Bay, where you will glide by Freycinet’s vibrant marine life, pink granite mountains and white sandy beaches.
In the evening, we have arranged for a private chef to come and cook for you on the island with a bespoke dining Xperience, curated using the best produce from the North East Coast of Tasmania and its surrounds.
Day 3
On day 3, after fueling up on breakfast, you will be picked up from the island by the Freycinet Aqua Taxi for a day out exploring the Freycinet Bay National Park, which is renowned for its pristine white beaches and pink granite mountains.
A guided walking tour is the best way to enjoy the majestic Wineglass Bay and seek out secluded viewpoints further along at Hazards Beach. Allowing you to take in the sights and sounds of this natural paradise.
After all that walking, enjoy a gourmet lunch at the stunning Freycinet Lodge while you take in the views of Coles Bay.
After Lunch, return to Picnic Island via Aqua Taxi where you will have the rest of the day to take a well earned rest and put your feet up on one of the island’s jetty’s by the water or inside by the fireplace.
Day 4
One final breakfast and time to make the most of your own private island before the Seaplane returns to take the flight back south along Tasmania’s East Coast to Hobart Airport.
From Hobart, enjoy your Business Class flights back home and arrive feeling relaxed and rejuvenated following your epic adventure to your own Private Island.
